Qhaus Factory now runs under ERP system

2015 has been quite an exciting year here are at Qhaus.
After several months of development we finally managed to start electronic monitoring of Factory Production and now we can proudly state that all our business runs under an ERP system.

An Enterprise Resource Planning system is a pretty complex piece of software and a major investment for a Company. However in our vision this system is vital to the future of the Company and of this Industry in general.

Today we can proudly state that on September 2015 Qhaus is the first and only Element House Factory in Estonia to run its business under a fully integrated and custom developed ERP system.

We put a lot of effort and passion in this development and the results we are getting are simply astonishing.
Looking at the numbers we get from the system, we believe that during the course of the next year (2016) we’ll be able to increase the efficiency of the Factory by a 20% and we plan to use part of this benefit to decrease the price point of our product.
Not only we’ll get price benefit but the overall quality of the Product will increase as we have now total traceabilty of the Product.

Meet the ERP

An ERP is an business management software that a company can use to collect, store, manage and interpret data from many business activities, including:

  • Product planning
  • Product/Business cost
  • Marketing and sales
  • Manufacturing or service planning
  • Inventory management
  • Shipping and payments

An ERP provides a real-time integrated view of core business processes and it is built up with databases maintained by a database management system.
ERP systems track business resources (raw materials, production capacity, human resources, cashflow, …) and the status of business commitments (orders, purchase orders, payroll, bills, turnover…).
Q-haus ERP is deigned to share information between different departments (Sales, Design, Production, Project Management, Wharehouse) and thanks to the ERP some of the daily routines of buisiness become really easy and fool proof.

At present our ERP implements the following modules:

  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module
  • Sales Pipeline module
  • Project Management Pipeline module
  • Process Manager module
  • Workstation module module
  • Wharehouse module
  • Invoicing module
  • Bills module
  • Finance module

On our roadmap for development there is plenty of exciting stuff we want to add in a near future; however next big things to be developed will be:

  • Offer making module
  • Contracts module
  • Logistic module

All those modules interact with each other and this makes possible to share information efficiently end effortlessly between the different departments fo the Company. The goal here is to maximize the Quality and offer zero-defect Product & Service while minimizing the costs.

We started the development of our ERP in October 2013 with the creation of the CRM module.
The CRM module includes many functionalities of a common CRM and it features a Lead creation system that is the core of our Sales process.

Leads are handled by Sales and the Sales Pipeline module gives a comprehensive view of the status of each Lead from Request to Contract… something like Pipedrive does but in our ERP the pipeline view is directly integrated with the rest of Company’s business. For example, in the moment a Lead becomes a Project it migrates to the Project Management schedule where resources are allocated for Design, Production, Delivery and Assembly; however the Lead still retains all the info we gathered during the Sales process (Client’s specs, particular requests, suggestions and wishes… ) and the all are accessible by our Team.

Other useful features such as reminders and Task Manager are integrated into the system to allow smother daily activites and make sure that at Qhaus no one misses a bit.

We are totally confident the ERP is a major stepping stone into the future success of the Company.
